What is the cost of the workshop?

Please visit our registration page for more information on pricing. A small number of reduced fee tickets will be available for early-career professionals and those reporting for/on underserved communities. Please contact the organizers for more information.

Will this workshop require any pre-work?

Accepted Answer

No substantial pre-work will be required. Participants may be asked to discuss some of their relevant recent work at the start of the workshop.

Question 5

What platform will you use for the online workshop?

Accepted Answer

We use Zoom as our standard conferencing platform for workshops, and will be using chat, breakout rooms, and polls. We may also use Miro for interactive activities. Please ensure you have accounts for each ready to use prior to the workshop.

Question 6

If Changeist cancels for any reason, what happens?

Accepted Answer

Should Changeist postpone or cancel an online masterclass or workshop due to conditions beyond our control (illness, technical or communications failure, conflict, etc), we will make a good faith attempt to reschedule the online masterclass or workshop at a later time, and honor all registrations.

Can I be invoiced for the cost of the workshop (i.e. as a company)?

There is an invoicing option for payment for company-sponsored participants and groups. Please contact the organizers with questions about invoicing.

Will I receive a certificate at the end of the workshop?

Accepted Answer

Yes, attendees participating in the entire event will receive a digital certificate of completion after the workshop.

How will I receive the book discounts?

Accepted Answer

After registration, we will provide you a discount code for purchases direct from the publisher. This code is good for both print and digital formats. The books aren't required reading in advance, but will help deepen your understanding of concepts discussed in the workshop.
